Accept an invitation to a group event

Purpose

This article describes how to accept an invitation to a group event.

Audience

This article is directed toward anyone who is invited to an event (travelers and administrators of group travel events).

Accept invitation

You can access your group event invitation by the invitation email or through the web app:

  • From the invitation email: When you are invited to a group event, you’re sent an automated invitation email (Figure 1). Select View & Respond to Invite. This opens the event information page within the TravelBank app, including the options to Accept or Decline the invitation to the event. Select the appropriate option.

  • From the web app: From the navigation menu, select Travel > Group Events. This brings you to an Upcoming Group Events page. Select View Event Details for the event you’d like to RSVP to. This opens the event information page (Figure 2), including the options to Accept or Decline the invitation to the event. Select the appropriate option.

If you accept the invitation, the Respond to Invitation section changes to: “You are attending!” If you decline the invitation, the Respond to Invitation section changes to: “Declined Event” and “We have notified the point of contact that you have declined the event.”
