Purpose

This article explains multifactor authentication (MFA) and describes how to log in to your account using MFA.

Audience

This article applies to all users.

Overview

MFA adds another layer of security to your account in addition to the security provided by your password.

Log in to your account using multifactor authentication

Before signing in to your account, have your login email address (typically your work email address) and password ready, as well access to the inbox for your login email.

  1. On the login page, enter your email address and select Continue. This brings up a new page prompting you to enter your password.

  2. Enter your password and select Sign In. This brings up an Authentication Required dialog (Figure 1 and Figure 2) and prompts the system to send you an email with the required verification code.
