Purpose
This article describes how to activate your Commercial Rewards card once you have received it in the mail.
Audience
This article applies to all Commercial Rewards card customers.
Overview
Commercial Rewards Card customers can activate their Commercial Rewards cards by phone at (800) 344-5696 or online through the:
Card activation is not available, however, through the mobile app.
Other details about activation
When a card’s expiration date is updated, the Activate button will reappear on the My Cards page for the account and the cardholder will need to activate the new card once it has arrived.
Prerequisite
You can take the steps in this article once you receive your Commercial Rewards card in the mail.

Activate your card through the login page
Once you receive your Commercial Rewards card in the mail, take the following steps to activate your card:
Navigate to the login portal.
Select “Activate Card Now” at the bottom of the page (see Figure 1). This takes you to an Activate Your Card page (see Figure 2).

Complete the required fields, and then select “Continue”. This prompts the system to email you a one-time passcode.
Activation code field: The activation code is defined by your organization’s admin during card setup. If you’re a cardholder, the activation code is on your My Cards page. If you’re an admin, the activation code is on your Card Management page.
If you activated your card earlier or offline, when you select Activate card Now on the login page, the system will prompt you to enter your card information. When you do that, a “Card successfully activated” message will appear instead of a one-time verification code.
Check your email to get the passcode, and enter the passcode on the Verify It’s You page (Figure 3). This brings up a Your card is now active! confirmation page (Figure 4).

From there you can go back to the TravelBank login page.
Once your card is active, check your email again for a corporate card welcome email providing more information about your card (Figure 5).

Activate your card through the My Cards page
To activate your card through the My Cards page, take the following steps:
Log in to your account.
Select My Cards from the left navigation menu. The page will run a check to determine whether the Activate Card Now link should be visible. If you need to activate your card, the link appears.
In the default My Cards tab, select Activate Card to the right of the card you want to activate (Figure 6).

When prompted, enter your card’s expiration date. The system then emails you a verification code.
Check your email to get the code, and navigate back to the My Cards page.
Enter the verification code and select Activate Now. This completes your card activation.
