Purpose

This article describes the delegate role for TravelBank users.

Audience

This article is directed toward administrators with a paid TravelBank expense and travel management account. It also applies to Commercial Rewards Card program administrators on a paid plan.

Overview of delegate role

Once you have added employees to your organization, you can also create host-delegate relationships between them. A host is an employee for whom tasks are completed. A delegate is an employee who completes tasks on behalf of a host.

Delegate users can complete tasks directly on behalf of their hosts, and because delegates are assigned to a host, there is no need for hosts to share passwords, which ensures that their login information stays confidential and secure.

Once a delegate is assigned to a host, the delegate can switch over to the host's account to perform specific tasks.
