Our system is great for the road warrior and the infrequent travelers alike. For those that don't travel often, you can add a credit card and toggle on and off the sync only when you know you're going to be using it for business.

Adding your Credit Card

To sync your credit card, open the menu and select Credit Card Sync. You'll then select your bank and enter your bank credentials. Check out the video below on how to sync your credit card.

For those with multiple cards, feel free to add as many as you need.

Assigning Transactions to an Expense Report

From Credit Card Sync in the menu, select the transaction you want to assign to an expense report. Once the transaction is assigned, you can then add a receipt by taking or uploading a photo to complete the expense details.

Pairing your Transactions with Receipts

From Credit Card Sync in the menu, select the transaction you want to pair with a receipt and then tap Pair. A new window will open with a list of your captured receipts where you can then select the receipt that matches with that transaction. Once you hit select, your transaction will be paired with the captured receipt.

Auto-categorization

Credit Card transactions will be categorized automatically based on your company's categories. As more co-workers categorize the expenses the system will get smarter.

Pending Transactions

Pending credit card transactions are not reliable like restaurant bills before tip, holds from hotels and gas stations and other incomplete charges. We wait until a transaction is final and posted to your account before bringing it into TravelBank.

Please note: the credit card charges will be in "pending" status until your credit card company has cleared the transactions. Typically it only takes a few hours. However, sometimes it can take up to 3 days. If you are waiting on a transaction to close out the report and submit it, we recommend that you take a photo of the receipt and submit it.
